We hope Beder Therapy Vouchers can be the start of an impactful initiative which provides people with an initial introduction to therapy and shows the value of speaking to someone about your thoughts and concerns as you don’t have to struggle in these challenging times on your own.

Through Mindler’s app, you will be able to meet with a psychologist via video calls and/or complete iCBT exercises in the mobile app to provide support in looking after your mental health.

Once your free therapy sessions through the Beder Therapy Vouchers have finished then you will have continued access to Mindler’s self care platform and additional therapy sessions will be available at a reduced rate should you feel continuing with therapy could be beneficial to you.

Benefits of Therapy

BETTER UNDERSTAND YOURSELF

We often run on autopilot doing things that we feel we have to and what is expected of us.

Therapy provides a chance to understand ourselves whether it is as simple as our likes and dislikes to what we really want out of life.

Once you do that, you can spend your life doing the things you actually want to do, rather than wasting time on things that you think you should be doing.

LEARN NEW SKILLS FOR COPING

In the same way that we learn to walk, read or write, we need to learn how to cope with the different situations we encounter in life.

Those challenging situations can be in your personal life, at home, amongst family or professionally at work.

Just like any other kind of skill, these can be learnt; and that can be done in therapy working with a therapist who will provide you with new and helpful mechanisms to cope with your day-to-day life in a constructive manner.

ACHIEVE GOALS

Setting goals is an important part of therapy and throughout the therapeutic process as our goals influence our actions and respond to our needs.

Setting realistic and achievable goals is an important part of the therapeutic process and your therapist will help you create a personalised plan.

Achieving your goals will boost your confidence and capability, and it will contribute to improve your self-esteem and your motivation to fight for the things that are important for you.

IMPROVE YOUR RELATIONSHIPS

We create a range of relationships throughout our life but it can be hard to realise which relationships are important to you, and which ones not.

For example, you might realise that you have been friends with someone for a long time but the friendship is no longer healthy for you.

Therapy can teach you how to argue less and communicate more effectively whilst ensuring your boundaries are held and negative relationship patterns don’t arise in the future.
