BEDER X THE LITTLE PLANTATION

COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. PROMOTER
The Promoter of this competition is Beder which is a charitable incorporated organisation registered with the Charity Commission in England and Wales (registered number 1187475) with its registered offices at 42 Northway, Morden, SM4 4HF (“Beder”).
2. THE PRIZE
2.1 The Promoter is offering the chance to win one (1) admission onto the Partner’s Food Photography & Food Styling Online Course for Beginners and Intermediate students (RRP of £397 – https://thelittleplantation.co.uk/beginners-food-photography-course) (“Prize”).
2.2 The Prize is supplied by The Little Plantation (“Partner”). Prizes are subject to availability. The Partner reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of equal or greater value.
2.3 The Prize is not negotiable or transferable.
2.4 For the avoidance of doubt, travel and any related costs and expenses (i.e. accommodation and subsistence) are not included as part of the Prize and such costs shall be the responsibility of the winners.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The competition will run from and including 00:01am BST on 10 September 2023 (the “Opening Date”) to 12:00pm BST on 20 September 2023 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive.
3.2 In order to submit a valid entry to the competition (a “Entry”), you must:
3.2.1 purchase one (1) copy of Eat with Beder through the Promoter’s website https://beder.org.uk/product/eat-with-beder/ (“Website”); and
3.2.2 use KIMBERLY as the coupon code in order to redeem 30% off the RRP when purchasing Eat with Beder on the Website;
3.3 By submitting a Entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you fail to use the Coupon on the Website or purchase Eat with Beder from any other website, your purchase will not be deemed to be an Entry.
3.4 Upon submission of an Entry, you have the chance to win the Prize.
3.5 You will receive an additional Entry for each copy of Eat with Beder which is purchased through the Website between the Opening Date and Closing Date. For example, if you purchase five (5) copies of Eat with Beder then you will have secured five (5) individual Entries into the competition.

4. ELIGIBILITY
4.1 The competition is open to all residents worldwide except:
4.1.1 employees of Beder; or
4.2 If you are under the age of 16, you must obtain written parental or guardian consent to enter and claim the Prize. The Promoter may ask the winner to provide proof of age.
4.3 In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the Prize. Beder may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.
5. WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT
5.1 The winners of the prizes will be selected at random notified by email on or before 24 September 2023 (“Announcement Date”).
5.2 The decision of Beder is final and Beder will not enter into any correspondence or discussion.
5.3 Beder will contact the winner as soon as practicable after the Announcement Date, using the email address provided with the Entry through the Website.
6. CLAIMING THE PRIZE
6.1 Beder will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If any winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed the Prize within 48 hours of the Announcement Date, Beder reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
6.2 Beder does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the Prize.
6.3 The Prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
6.4 The Promoter may ask the winner and the guest to provide proof of age.
7. CHARITY LINKED COMPETITION
7.1 This is a charity linked fundraising competition with all funds raised through the sales of Eat with Beder via the Website between the Opening Date and Closing Date support Beder in its work to softly raise awareness around mental health and suicide prevention.
7.2 All funds raised shall be used on an unrestricted basis to further Beder’s charitable objectives. If you would like receive additional information about Beder then please contact inspire@beder.org.uk.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Insofar as is permitted by law, Beder and the Partner will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Beder, the Partner and/or their agents or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
9. DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY
9.1 If you are the winner of the competition, you agree Beder and/or Partner may use your name, image and town or county of residence to announce the winner of this competition and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes.
9.2 You further agree to participate in any reasonable publicity required by Beder and/or Partner.
9.3 By entering the competition, you agree that any personal information provided by you with the Entry may be held and used only by Beder or its agents and suppliers to administer the competition and further its charitable objectives.
10. GENERAL
10.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, Beder may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
10.2 Beder reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
10.3 These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

      • 1 x The Essential 6pc Japanese Damascus Steel Knife Set; 1 x Hexmills and 1 x Eat with Beder cookbook; or
      • 10 x individual copies of the Eat with Beder cookbook.

(each a “Prize” and collectively the “Prizes”).

  • The Prize is supplied by the Promoter. Prizes are subject to availability. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of equal or greater value.

    • By submitting a Entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions. Upon submission of an Entry, you have the chance to win the Prize.

  4. Claiming the prize
    • The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact each winner. If any winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed the Prize within 48 hours of the Announcement Date, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
